Badoque Cafe

It was just a random day that my friends ask me out for dinner, we were contemplating to  eat "meaty" kind of food. And the very well chosen place was Badoque cafe, of course it's halal!. Although i know there is one at Simpang Bedok which is definitely near my area, i came all the way to their new out at Upper Thomson Road, if i'm not wrong it's quite a newly outlet.

I love their concept cafe abit like those rustic vintage theme, dim lights, cool music, and what is more having your dinner with your friends bound to have endless laughters and happiness is a sure plus points to the cafe.

& if you're around, The main dish you should really try is their "Badoque BBQ Ribs", it's a to die for dish. It's big, the meat is juicy and tender and when you try to cut slice it the knife cuts smoothly as though you're slicing butter, with their BBQ sauce, mash potato and salad. What can go wrong!!!! Oh ya, this particular dish is really a heavy dish, its meant to eat for 2, but ya if you're that big kind of eat, you WILL sure enjoy this meal.

For drinks, i'm gladly to recommend their Ice Salted Caramel, how the serve their drinks very Vintage-Vintage and yea their Caramel is sure on of a kind. But of course they do have other options for drinks, like they mention in their menu "We love our PAKCHIKS & MAKCHIKS". Lol!

This is not your ordinary "Wadeh", this is their Fried Calamari, the best I've eaten so far. Their batter is just right and yes its light and tender inside

Those chili padi maniacs and spicy lovers, you should try this. It's they "must-try" chicken. and a very unique dish name "Kpak Bing Bing", spicy like hell(in a good way, of cos!) I ate 2 piece of it, till i felt my tongue was on fire and my ears came out smoke.. Not exaggerating but it is really THAT spicy.

& lastly, what sums up my night is their service and staff, they really make sure their customers have their food on time, they always check on their customers asking them if it's the food okay and they are not stingy with their opinions and suggestions. It's a win-win cafe for me.

You can always call them to enquire on bookings or reservation. Oh ya, to help them promote la kans, for Ramadan period, its always best to walk-in to their cafe. They don't do call on reservations. Remember, first come first serve. :)
