Most of the time i'm my spending my time just on daily routines, work, hanging out wit friends and family and home, cooking, washing and lastly sleep. But i never actually thought that i'm preparing for the one huge thing in my life.
I got engaged on end of 2012 but i never felt any nervousness or pressured or stress, maybe because i was too calm with situation and obviously with the support of my families and friends i manage to ease everything.
My partner and i had our "preparation of marriage" course last weekend, and i tell you i was amazing. After listening to the lecturer advises and how they guide us towards preparation, i never thought i would say this, but somehow, I felt ready. I feel ready to be someone's wife, i feel ready to carry the responsibilities, malay say "da gata nak kawin" but actually, pahala besar you alls. I had the most amazing one to one, heart to heart talk with my partner after the course in regards how he felt after the 2 days session, and i was shock too that he had the same feeling and ideas as i do because normally he is the non-expressive one. LOL!
The course itself made us (me & my partner) realize a lot of things. It made us really questioned ourselves if we are really ready for this upcoming future together. Are we ready to build this bond and expand the numbers of us in future. Alhamdulilah, we both had the same exact thinking. Aside from that, the course itself is fun, the lecturers are really really open, the food is great, had games too and of cos the great bonding we had with strangers who are actually going thru the same boat as us, masyaallaah..
Eventually this course really open our hearts, minds and feelings. I'm the emotional one at times when it comes to a topic that really strikes me. heh!
But overall, i feel contented and grateful after attending that course, macam nak pergi tiap-tiap minggu. HAHA!
So yea, currently we both had our first cert down, one more final one to go, insyaallah.
Let's us all wait for the big news. :)
