I didn't have time to upload this due to the opening of this blog. Yes, I cook. Basically its a very simple dish to make and enjoy this meal with your families or your love ones.
What I did was,
Steam Fish Fillet with Green Beans Dress with Oyster Soy Sauce.
Ingredients
White Fish Fillet Cut to Slices (can be found in frozen food markets, NTUC, Sheng Siong, Cold Storage)
Green Beans - cut short or long up to you
Bean Sprouts
1 Green Chili & 1 Red Chili - cut slices for spicy-ness.
1 Clove of Garlic (make sure you crush it)
1 teaspoon of blended red onion
1 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce
1 teaspoon Fish Sauce
1 teaspoon Black Bean Soya Sauce
1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon of sugar
White Pepper and Salt for taste
Methods :
1) Marinate the Fish with salt pepper and sesame oil. Steam the fish in rice cooker or steamer (choice of your own) As for me I steam my fish in the rice cooker as there will be an automatic cooked alert
Steam about 10-15mins
2) Preparing of Sauce.
Heat pan with oil, you choice of oil, for me I use the normal natural olive oil. Normal cooking oil is fine too.
Sauté garlic and blended red onion first. Once it turns nearly to brown add in Oyster Sauce, Fish Sauce, Black Bean Sauce and continue to sauté.
*Tips : Make sure the you don't over burned the garlic and blended red onion or else you'll get those burnt flavour and it will definite spoil the whole dish
3) Slowly you will see the ingredients thicken up, add in water. Then throw in the Green beans and Bean Sprouts and also the red & green chillies. (You can be more creative like adding more carrots or any other vege). Let it simmer for like 3 mins or so.
4) Once your fish is steam-ly cooked, add your fish together with the sauce in the pan.
If the sauce thickens, add a little bit of water, followed by sugar, white pepper and salt for taste.
5) You're ready done. Can be served with White or Brown Rice.
